  1. Case 113331: Marco and Wesley [last names withheld] observed a grey and white object moving from “left to right”. The object then hovered for an unspecified time. The entire observation was approximately five minutes. “It seemed to be watching us, then shot off straight up” claims Marco. The object “turned abruptly”, “appeared solid”, was highly “reflective” had a dome and was estimated to be between 30 feet to 100 feet in diameter. It was flying at an altitude of greater than 500 feet and was more that one mile in distance. There were no apparent sounds or emissions. READ MORE View the full article
  2. Case 113396: Tessa [last name withheld] was taking photographs and a video of her friend on top of a parking garage in Naples, Florida.1 Naples is on the coast of west Florida and the photography was taken at sunset. While watching the video of a young man standing on the roof, one can barely make out an object in the distance as it were ascending at about a 45° angle. It is barely visible as it emerges from behind his head and gracefully ascends until it is out of sight. Tessa described the object as a “disc”, over 500 feet in altitude and at a distance of over one mile. She said there was no sound or emissions and suggested that the object was between 30 feet to 100 feet in diameter. If it’s a mechanical device, the object appears to have a light-green exterior light on its left side and a pinkish-white exterior light on the right side. The surfaces appear to be black on top and grey below. Alternatively, if it’s natural, this could be a seagull or other bird. Gulls are typically grey on the bottom, black or dark grey of top with black and grey wings. The “white light” on the right may be its neck and underparts and the “green light” on the left side may be its two webbed feet. The black parts on both the top and bottom may be its wings. For example, this might be a Great Black-backed Gull. For example, in Case 112116, four, long-distance photographs were taken near Sacramento, California, of a shape-shifting “sphere”. The photographer exclaimed that, “I also have taken pictures of clouds and these spheres have appeared in some of my pictures.” The “sphere”, at least for this writer, was a California Gull flying towards the camera. In another photo, it became obvious that it was a gull ascending into the sky. California Gulls are frequently sighted in the Sacramento region. READ MORE View the full article
  3. Case 113724: Carmella May Dunkin stood on her deck facing west towards the Rocky Mountains and took two photographs of the clouds on a partially cloudy morning. Once she viewed what she photographed, she realized that she captured an image of six objects over the Florissant, Colorado, area. Florissant is a small town in the mountains approximately 32 miles northwest of Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs is the location of the US Air Force and US Space Force Academy. Petersen Air Force Base is also located nearby and adjacent to the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport. Colorado Springs is home to the North American Aerospace Command (NORAD) and the Space Force’s 21st Space Wing. READ MORE ... View the full article
  4. Case 113459: Joshua [last name withheld] was driving north toward Columbus in the late afternoon. Passing a cornfield, he what he thought was farming equipment In the field turned out to be something else somewhat more exotic. Joshua claims that the black object rose from the field to just above the tree line and hovered for a few seconds. It then “then slowly started flying away to the north”. Joshua claimed that it “appeared solid”. Unfortunately, there was only one witness to the landed craft. As far as that is concerned the official report states that the object was “landed on the ground”, but the landing was not observed. READ MORE ... View the full article
  5. Case 113663: Susanne, Mark and Tyler [last name withheld] were on a family vacation in Divide, Colorado. Suzanne claims to have seen a “dark object reflecting off the Moon.” Divide is in the vicinity of Colorado Springs, approximately 60 miles south of Denver. While taking pictures, Suzanne zoomed in on the dark object which appeared to be a small triangle-shaped object silhouetted by the Moon. She indicated in the CMS report that the Moon was at 90° above the horizon, that it glowed and left a trail or cloud. Her initial photo is shown below. The duration of the observation was one hour. The object has a definite triangle or arrowhead shape. READ MORE View the full article
  6. Case 113698: Miguel [last name withheld] while doing his regular exercises and stargazing in his backyard, reported seeing a boomerang traveling from the northeast (generally over the greater Los Angeles region) to the southwest (generally over the Pacific Ocean toward Santa Catalina Island). According to Miguel’s CMS report, the boomerang was over 300 feet in size, had a dark surface, white exterior lights, no emissions and no sound. It maintained a constant speed and elevation, had “fuzzy edges”, and a “mist or shroud” about it. There were no colored running lights on the extreme ends of the boomerang. He saw a helicopter in the area after the object flew past. Miguel attached the artist’s impression of a boomerang shown below to illustrate what he saw. It was at a distance of more than one mile. 7. Case 113457: This must have been an exciting ride. Eddie [last name withheld] was driving with two friends when they first saw the stationary, white, “star-like” orb in the sky. It didn’t last that way for very long. It was doing a “dance” in the sky, jumping and bouncing around the field of view of his video and still camera shots. For the next 1-½ hours driving up to 95 mph, Eddie and his friends chased, what he calls a “boomerang”, all over Shelby county. Eddie described the object as a “boomerang”, but this writer would describe it as an “orb”. The orb “changed direction”, “cast light”, “flashed randomly”, and, most unusually made a “humming” noise! It must have been exciting. You can hear the excitement in the voices of all three witnesses as they pursued the orb. Apparently, the orb would slow its speed so that Eddie could keep up with it in his car. On his MUFON CMS report, Eddie said that it initially hovered, descended, ascended and moved around wildly. Viewing the videos, the orb was jumping around from corner to corner and changing colors. You can see white, gray, green, and red in the videos and in the images below. Eddie also claimed that it was also blue, blue-white and yellow-orange, constantly transitioning from one or more colors to others. The “Italian tri-colors”, green, white and red, are shown below. The object had fuzzy edges, blinked, pulsated and glowed. His estimate of size was 10 to 30 feet in dimension, appeared generally at 50° above the horizon, and its lowest altitude was treetop level. He estimated the distance to be approximately 100 feet to 500 feet from his car. It also affected the quality of the sound on his cell phone. Sidney, Ohio, is approximately 35 miles north of Dayton. Dayton is the home of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. READ MORE View the full article
  8. Case 112819: Joshua [last name withheld] was relaxing on his apartment balcony when he observed a large “V”-shaped object over Cordova, Tennessee, a suburb of Memphis. The craft had a black surface color and five, white external lights facing toward the ground. The white lights were unwavering. It was estimated by Joshua to be between 500 feet to one mile in distance, and the lowest altitude was greater than 500 feet under a cloud cover. The object, which Joshua associates with the military, was observed for approximately two minutes and maintained the same altitude throughout the sighting. Joshua’s drawing, which was taken from the Internet, is shown left. READ MORE View the full article
  9. Case 113005: Near midnight of the New Year, Jordan and three other witnesses sighted a yellow-orange, “sphere” about 60° above the horizon in Beavertown, Pennsylvania. Beavertown is located in Pennsylvania’s Appalachian Mountains. The sighting lasted for about two minutes while the object blinked, pulsated and glowed. There were no sounds or emissions. 10. Case 112993: Webster Springs, West Virginia, is approximately 15 miles southwest of Sutton Lake and is a rural town located nearly in the center of the state. Directly east of Webster Springs are the Allegheny Mountains. At about 1:30 AM while sitting in her car, Kimberly [last name withheld] sighted what she called a “disc” that ascended from “the side of the mountain” and then hover. She described it as having “left a trail” and had a “flame’. The object then ascended and seemed to spin around at the same time. On her report she checked the “appeared solid”, “spun”, “vibrated” and “glowed” entries. According to the report, the object had a “dome”, “windows”, and was silver/chrome in color. Kimberly took five photographs and a short video. The entire event took approximately 15 minutes. The video seemed to show a faint, squared-off object with a bright white structure underneath emitting apparently what she referred to as a “flame”. Two of her photographs however are far clearer and even more mysterious. READ MORE View the full article
  11. Case 112109: As I live near Sacramento, California, I have realized that during the past few months there seems to been an “uptick” in the number of sightings reported to MUFON from the region around Sacramento. In addition to this sighting, other recent sightings near Sacramento have been Cases 112504, 112116 and 111974. On the above date in Carmichael (a suburb of Sacramento), California, John [last name withheld] was preparing to go to his gym class and decided to warm up in a local park. After a short run, he felt too much pain and decided to lie down for a while. Directly overhead (i. e., 90° above the horizon), John could see a “star-like” object traveling west to east at an extreme altitude (what he referred to as the “maximum height” of a commercial aircraft). John’s statement indicates that he “attempted to talk to it” apparently in hopes that it would respond in some way. Shortly thereafter, the object suddenly descended, falling like a leaf, thousands of feet to treetop level. John claims that it then fluttered, vibrated, pulsated and wobbled while hovering. It was the color and size of a silver/chrome basketball, sometimes appearing to be solid, other times transparent. It made no sound and left no emissions. After observing the orb for between five to eight minutes, the object ascended thousands of feet to its original altitude and continued on its original path eastward. READ MORE View the full article
  12. Case 112504: Sevdie, a high school student, and her two friends were outdoors in Elk Grove, approximately 12 miles southeast of Sacramento, California. At first, the object seemed to be a ”big, bright light”, but too big to be a star. It appeared to be a small sphere inside a larger sphere. The whole object pulsated, glowed, vibrated and seemed to be transparent. In her report, Sevdie described it as being white, but in her description, it was also “with vivid hints of red and maybe blue or green”. The three witnesses watched the object for approximately one hour at about 2° above the horizon. As can be seen from Sevdie’s photograph below, the object had “fuzzy edges”. In her report, Sevdie stated that the object was stationary; however, the video reveals that the object had a random movement but stayed within the camera’s field of view. There was an aircraft in the vicinity both before and after the sighting. READ MORE View the full article
  13. Case 112465: I know, I know; who cares about lights in the night sky over the Las Vegas Strip, anyway? Particularly, when there is only one “witness”. Generally, I’m dubious about most “lights in the night sky”, but this case may be different. Juliette [last name withheld] was with a friend(s) on Las Vegas Blvd. at 7:30 PM. She took seven snapshots beginning with the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and ending with Bally’s Hotel & Casino (photo # 7). She didn’t bother to record the camera settings. Why would she? She and her friends didn’t actually see the blue lights in the sky; they in fact were not real “witnesses”. She was photographing the casinos and not the blue orbs. Juliette realized what she had captured only after she viewed them later (a frequent event in such cases). Her first photo showed two, pale blue points of light above the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. As she panned toward the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino (see below), she caught what appear, at least, for this writer, a string of several, faint, blue lights and one, blue “smudge” over Paris Las Vegas and a blue “smudge” over Planet Hollywood. 14. Case 112248: Dustin [last name withheld] initially saw the “star-like” object as a “blurry line” and as it approached, he could see a bright red orb and preceded by what Dustin called its “bow-shock (a semi-circle of misty air around the front, but not connected to the object)”. He then called his wife Heather to then watch the orb turn toward the north of Middlesex, North Carolina. There was no sound or apparent emissions. The object was 50° above the horizon and heading toward an airplane in the distance. The observation lasted 2 minutes. Dustin’s drawing of what he called a “star-like” object and its shock wave appear left. READ MORE View the full article
